Our day started with a visit to an old fashioned particular water collection system, combo with ‘lavoir’ 

This system is rather unique where the water drainage is inside! Ideas for the ‘jarres familiales’ project in Kikwit? I remember an inventive ‘jarre’ holder who had installed the pot inside his house with pipes guiding the rainwater from the outside. Pol must have a photo!

Next we had a test of our ‘resilience’ a 1km climb on unpaved stoney road with a maximum gradient of 22%. Needless to say we did most by pushing our bikes uphill, two to push one bike!

Another rest day to visit and contemplate the complete unnecessary deads of WW1. Foulish wars all over the world!
