A rather quiet day along the excellent bike track ‘La Tarn à vélo’.

we didn’t have the best start

but soonest it became top quality!

A short stop at Lautrec, the garlic village with Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec as most famous descendant, was the 2km climb worth. But in the church the time has stood still, we are sure Henri must have been seated her. 

From Lautrec another 15km

did bring us to Jean Jaurès grandfather’s house, the Renaissance hotel in Castres, for a good night.
