Early morning start with a ‘baby bottle’ on the road full with energy to cross the 400km ...

A first longer climb went smoothly but we had other unexpected challenges: a dirt road was completely washed away with mud over a 200m stretch. 

Murphy around the corner : my traction belt unfitted, and a physician is not necessarily the best mechanic.

with some delay we finished the day stage on a 20km stretch along ‘le canal d’Ourcq’ right into the heart of Paris.

Of course, the beer tastes well on a Paris terrace and with our Belgian outfits we start preparing for a EURO 2020 victory!
