Dag 67. Auxonne, 78km

After a relaxing moment in a green oasis of peace

we’re back to our latest friend, the Saône, beautiful river we do follow already for 210km. 

The next department, Côte d’Or,

welcomes us with a snack

and le petit café

Tomorrow we will trade the Saône for la Vingeanne as we will change  Mediterranean waters for Atlantic (en route pour la Meuse)

A shocking billboard 

reminds me the cruel AIDS campaigns depicting miserable photos of deadly ill individuals! Wasn’t it a mistake in campaigning, a wrong communication strategy? Maybe they should remind us that diesel car’s exhausts and their microparticles are killing many more humans! On a positive note: with a bicycle you can accelerate and still not kill children!
