After the Verdun experience we do misread signposts or is it wishfull thinking?

and to put the deed to the word we just fraternised with fellow cyclists, Flemish with Walloons. The local beer ‘bière de Mouzon’ was excellent but heavy in the legs for the remaining 20km.
