Dag 72. Neufchâteau rest

A moment to contemplate around other businesses then cycling.

in the context of climate change Kikwit becomes central as water seems to be the gold of the future. Yet in Kikwit already today water is precious and hard to get for the majority of families in this 1million town.

A little ‘water’ project, familiale waterpotten voor Kikwit, tries to help some families to access it and at the same time prevent erosion when torrential tropical storms flood the place. Houses are literally swept away!

The project installed the 450liter jarres earlier this week and many of you contributed, thanks.

This health centre had no access to WATER and yet it is called Health... Needless to say the staff is greatfull for this bare minimum!
