Day 16, Bransac 72km

Finally the heat has been blown away and refreshing rain came. Before the first drops we had a spectacular sight of The Loire in Chambles but the clouds were massing together and wind started blowing.
We speeded downhill until we had to take shelter at a local auberge that seemed open. Quid non! On the contrary a family gathering for 'Father's Day' WELCOMED us! Un très grand merci à la famille pour nous mettre au chaud avec une grande hospitalité.

For the next 25 to 30 km rain, wind and thunderstorms around us with our accommodation not directly next to the road: 1,4 km downhill at 11%.
We survived et la Table d'hôtes nous attend.
